Mackie enters the IEM market with its new MP-120, MP-220 and MP-240 models.

Anaheim, CA (January 25, 2018)—Mackie’s new line of high-performance in-ear monitors includes the single dynamic driver MP-120, dual dynamic driver MP-220, and dual hybrid driver MP-240.

All models feature ergonomically molded enclosures with three different types of ear tips. The detachable, audiophile-grade cables are shielded and internally braided and are equipped with MMCX connectors.

The MP-120 features a single large dynamic driver said to offer balanced sound with of low-end and clarity. The MP-220 steps up the configuration to dual dynamic drivers, aiming for tighter bass response and enhanced detail in the mids and highs. The MP-240 offers a dynamic driver plus a balanced armature driver.

“From loudspeakers to mixers and everything between, we have decades of experience creating gear for the stage,” says Matt Herrin, Mackie product manager. “We were excited to draw on that experience for the creation of these new in-ear monitors.”

The Mackie MP Series Professional In-Ear Monitors are scheduled to be available worldwide beginning Feb. 1, 2018. Sold individually, U.S. MSRP pricing is $140 for the MP-120, $210 for the MP-220 and $280 for the MP-240.
