The CR30, sporting a gunmetal-like black chrome finish, is intended to produce a natural warm sound for singers; with a 3-position attenuation switch (0 db, -10 dB, -20 dB), the sound can be adjusted to the vocalist's individual style. Sound is captured using a 32mm large diaphragm 6 micron gold sputtered capsule, and the microphone comes complete with a flight case and shock mount.

"The MXL CR30 sounds great, looks great, and is priced where anyone can afford it," states Perry Goldstein. "MXL has always prided themselves as a leading manufacturer of studio microphones that offer solid, accurate, professional sound. With the new cosmetics of the CR30, we are sure the recording artist will want one for their collection."

To be delivered in Q1, the CR30 will have a $299.95 MSRP.
