Stow, OH (July 6, 2017)—Audio-Technica has shipped the ATW-T6002x handheld transmitter for its 6000 Series high density wireless system.
The ATW-T6002x handheld transmitter is designed to provide low handling noise and features a metal construction body, OLED screen, soft-touch controls and switchable RF power (2 mW/10 mW/50 mW). Its industry-standard thread mount allows for the use of six new interchangeable A-T microphone capsules, as well as other compatible capsules.
The new interchangeable capsules include the ATW-C510 cardioid dynamic (ATM510 equivalent); ATW-C710 cardioid condenser (ATM710 equivalent); ATW-C4100 cardioid dynamic (AE4100 equivalent); ATW-C6100 hypercardioid dynamic (AE6100 equivalent); ATW-C3300 cardioid condenser; and ATW-C5400 cardioid condenser (AE5400 equivalent).
The 6000 Series system allows users to pack 31 channels in 4 MHz of bandwidth, with the channels are spaced at 125 KHz intervals and can all be used simultaneously. The system operates in the 944-952 MHz band, which is free of broadcast TV.
Overall, the 6000 Series system consists of the ATW-R6200S receiver, the ATW-T6001S body-pack transmitter and new ATW-T6002x handheld transmitter, an optional ATW-DA410 antenna distribution system, and a number of compatible Audio-Technica lavalier and headworn microphones.
