Burlington, MA (November 30, 2016)—Avid announced yesterday that it has extended the duration of support for its Venue S6L live sound console with a new three-year Avid Advantage Elite Live Support Plan, effective immediately for both new and existing customers.
The new support offers 24/7 phone and email support around the world with one-hour response times to ensure engineers can reach a live sound specialist at any time.
The program also offers next-day advanced hardware exchange, promising that any replacement S6L hardware components will be shipped for next-day delivery at no charge, without requiring the original part to be sent back first.
The plan also offers no-cost software upgrades, giving customers access to the latest software features and system updates, and onsite support at Avid’s discretion.
Every S6L customer now automatically receives a three-year Avid Advantage Elite Live Support Plan, including existing customers whose support plans will be retroactively upgraded to the Elite Live level.
Customers who purchased S6L before April 25, 2016 will have their support contract start dates changed to April 25, 2016, while customers who purchased the console after April 25, 2016 will retain their original support contract start dates.
