Boston, MA (January 4, 2013)—Cakewalk has released a free upgrade to its Sonar X2 Essential, which reportedly includes more than 250 fixes and enhancements based on customer feedback, Windows 8 support, an updated playlist view and now time markers, accessibility for vision impaired users and multi-touch support through Intel’s Ultrabooks.
Ultrabook allow users to swipe, pinch, drag and touch their musical workflow. Some of the basic features for music production include touch, multi-touch, scrolling, dragging, holding, zooming, swiping and tapping in different musical environments—all within Sonar X2’s Skylight User Interface.
