Gainesville, GA (March 13, 2018)—Danley Sound Labs has introduced the weatherproof OS-12CX wide-coverage loudspeaker.
Reportedly fully weatherproof, the Danley OS-12CX uses the company’s patented Synergy crossover design, Sentinel limiter protection circuitry, and stainless steel mounting hardware.

The loudspeaker sports a frequency response that is +/-3 dB from as low as 69 Hz to as high as 21.7 kHz using a single 12-inch coaxial driver. It is rated at 400 W continuous and 1,600 W peak and is reportedly capable of delivering 121 dB SPL continuous and 127 dB SPL peak.
The OS-12CX’s dimensions are approximately 30 inches tall by 26 inches wide by 11 inches deep. In addition, the Danley Sound Labs Centinel Protection Circuit is on both high and low frequencies. The loudspeaker weighs 40 lb.

The speaker is intended for use in small- to mid-sized sports venues, water parks and cruise ships, as well as for larger distributed outdoor installations or as fill for end-fired systems, according to Mike Hedden, president and founder of Danley Sound Labs.
