Marina Del Rey, CA (June 26, 2017)—Delta H Design, Inc. (DHDI)—a boutique acoustics firm and developer of trademarked Quantum Acoustics technology—has introduced its new ZR Wing, a tri-fold version of its original SR24+, which is designed to place behind speakers for reportedly “mastering quality acoustics,” explains DHDI Principal Designer Hanson Hsu. It is also well suited for use behind microphones, instruments, “or anywhere life-like acoustics are required,” offers official DHDI promotional materials.
Weighing in at 27 lbs., the 24-inch by 72-inch by 1-inch ZR Wing tri-fold panel collapses down to 2’ x 2’ x 6”, allowing it to be usefully portable for mobile or on-the-go recording, mixing and mastering projects; it is also easily mounted on microphone or Lighting C stands, reports DHDI.
A unique diffusor, the ZR Wing provides more than 450 non-parallel surfaces per square foot (NPS/ft2) thus effectively recreating a well-diffused acoustic environment behind a set of monitors, reducing distracting and unflattering early reflections.
