Los Angeles, CA (December 6, 2017)—Elite Acoustics Engineering has unveiled its A2-5 Mini Live Performance Amplifier offering four input channels plus auxiliary input alongside key features of Bluetooth connectivity, built-in effects, and a built-in rechargeable battery providing over eight hours of play time on one charge.
Compact and portable, the A2-5 weighs 22 lbs. and is 9- x 9- x 14.5-inches in size (L x W x H).
Designed and built in Elite Acoustics Engineering’s factory near Los Angeles, the Class D bi-amplified A2-5 can be powered and charged from the car; a charger is included. It utilizes a 5-1/4-inch woofer paired with a one-inch tweeter. In addition, the A2-5 includes a three-band master EQ, effects/mix level control, master volume control, built-in handle, integrated 35mm pole-receptacle, switchable direct out or line-level monitor output, and a built-in overcharge/over-drain protection designed to promote longer battery life.
The A2-5’s cabinetry is made of thick MDF and is wrapped in carbon fiber Tolex. Other features include 16 digital effects and +48V phantom power. Channel 1 provides one XLR and one quarter-inch TRS input; Channels 2, 3 and 4 provide corresponding quarter-inch TRS inputs.
Additional I/O includes quarter-inch stereo inputs, eighth-inch auxiliary input, dual XLR main outputs and quarter-inch TRS direct output, footswitch quarter-inch TRS, and dual quarter-inch TRS aux send/return connectivity.
