Flock Audio Unveils PATCH Patch Bay

Flock’s latest release is a digitally controlled analog patch bay.

Edmonton, AB, Canada (April 15, 2019)—Canadian manufacturer Flock Audio has introduced PATCH, a digitally controlled, analog audio patch bay routing system.

PATCH is a 64-point, expandable system combining hardware and software. Users operate the system using PATCH App software to control analog audio routings with a drag & drop GUI that allows all settings to be created, stored and recalled as needed. The OSX and Windows-compatible software was designed to be easy to use, regardless of experience level, and is intended to provide flexibility to handle a variety of professional audio setups.

The unit offers 32 channels of 48 V phantom power on-board. PATCH has accessible front input/output section balanced combo inputs for quick integration of external hardware sources for use on the fly. The front also includes a LED host signal connection indicator, 48 V LED indicator that phantom power is engaged on the front inputs, and an external 48 V warning LED indicator that notifies users of an external 48 V source.

The back sports organized 32 inputs and outputs via organized DB-25 connections, along with USB connectivity for host-to-Patch control. The Patch system offers multiple unit expandability, up to eight units.
