New York, NY (September 18, 2017)—Focusrite has unveiled RedNet X2P, a 2x2 Dante audio interface, allowing users to add I/O to any Dante audio-over-IP system or to Focusrite Red interfaces.

The unit sports two Red Evolution mic pres, which provide stereo linking, individual phantom power, a high-pass filter and phase reverse, and also include Air mode, emulating the sound of Focusrite’s transformer-based mic preamps.

The unit also has stereo line out and a stereo headphone amplifier; power, audio and remote control are supplied via an Ethernet cable. A local input mixer allows 'more me' monitoring control, while a control lockout ensures settings remain unchanged when used remotely.

Audio conversion with a reported 118 dB dynamic range is also provided. Flexible control locks enable local control of mic pre settings, output settings or both to be locked.
