High Wycombe, England (March 30, 2017)—Focusrite’s compact Clarett 2Pre, featuring ten inputs, four outputs and near-latency-free Thunderbolt connectivity, has been marked down $100 off its regular price for a limited time; until April 30, 2017, it is priced at $399.99 street.

Key features of the half rack-sized, high gain-capable Clarett 2Pre include up to 24-bit/192 kHz converter resolution, and a 119 dB dynamic range.

There are also dual microphone/line preamplifiers with individually selectable 48 V phantom power and Focusrite’s own ‘Air’ circuit, which models the company’s transformer-based ISA preamp

Also, ‘Gain Halo’ LED metering surrounds both gain knobs, and two Amphenol XLR/quarter-inch combo inputs can be found on the front panel.
