Markham, Ontario (June 1, 2017)—IsoAcoustics is now shipping its ISO-PUCK, a unique, multi-purpose round acoustic isolator. Designed for wide-ranging audio production as well as live sound applications—placement under monitors or speakers/wedges and subwoofers, musical instrument amplifiers, DJ mixers and turntables, mic stands, etc., for decoupling purposes—ISO-PUCK is arguably now the industry’s most discreet isolation solution; each ISO-PUCK measures only 1.18” high and 2.4” in diameter.
ISO-PUCKs are designed to be used in multiples to match the weight of each speaker, amplifier or other product. With a weight bearing capability of 20 lbs. per puck, multiple ISOPUCKs can be used to support the weight of the particular product requiring isolation.
According to IsoAcoustics, the composite isolator design of the ISO-PUCK allows it to isolate and manage energies, utilizing the same patented concepts found in other IsoAcoustics products. The ISO-PUCK features a flange suction cup on the top, which adheres to the bottom of the cabinet or product, as well as a bottom flange adhering to the supporting surface. As a result, “the energy is transferred to the core of the multipart isolator, resisting lateral movement and offering superior isolation, resulting in markedly improved clarity, 3-dimensional openness, and uncolored sound,” reports company promotional materials.
