The JBL EON ONE PRO Rechargeable Portable Personal Linear-array PA has shipped.

Northridge, CA (December 12, 2017)—HARMAN Professional Solutions is now shipping its JBL EON ONE PRO Rechargeable Portable Personal Linear-array PA product ($1,499 street). Updating the original EON ONE (reviewed in Pro Sound News, August 2016), the new EON ONE PRO Portable PA (PPA) is reportedly “the first all-in-one battery-powered linear-array P.A. system,” according to the company. Its rechargeable lithium cell provides six hours of performance, and other key features include Bluetooth audio connectivity and a seven-channel mixer as well as  lightweight and wieldy portability.

The JBL EON ONE PRO’s high-frequency section and two spacers fit into the base unit. Harman claims that users can set up the system in seconds, choosing the right number of spacers to optimize the sound for each application; in review, the original EON ONE proved to support this claim. In general, two spacers provide a long throw for live performances and large crowds, while a single spacer is appropriate for conferences, gyms and medium-sized groups. For small meetings and intimate events, users can place this PPA’s high-frequency section directly atop the base unit.

Other key features of the JBL EON ONE PRO include a maximum SPL of 118 dB (peak); eight-inch bass-reflex subwoofer; JBL’s patent-pending Directivity Control Geometry, intended to optimize the spacing and angles of the six two-inch high-frequency drivers; a seven-channel mixer with Hi-Z inputs; phantom power; bass, treble and reverb controls; pass-thru XLR connector; Bluetooth audio streaming; USB charger; and integrated accessory attachments.
