Riga, Latvia (January 14, 2014)—JZ Microphones recently expanded its product range with the release of its first channel strip, the JZ Track—a 1U mono unit pre-amplifier with a De-Esser, Compressor/Limiter stage, 3-band EQ stage, and output stage with metering.
The unit is made by SPL in Germany to JZ Microphones’ specifications, and is made to match impedance of JZ Microphones. The compressor can be linked with a second JZ Track compressor for coherent stereo operation of two units. Also JZ Microphones will offer an optional AD Card with ADAT and SPDIF outputs.
“When JZ Microphones asked us to make a special channel strip for them, we were excited and proud at the same time. Our Track One was the ideal starting grid for the ‘JZ Track’ project. Besides changing the looks, we also did some nice refinements internally to give the JZ Track its individual sonic touch,” said managing director of SPL, Hermann Gier.
JZ Microphones will exhibit the JZ Track at the NAMM Show 2014 in Anaheim, CA from Jan 23-26 at booth 6946, located in Hall A .
