L-Acoustics Debuts Optimization Tools

New features have been added to Soundvision and LA Network Manager.

New York, NY (April 5, 2018)—At Prolight + Sound, L-Acoustics will unveil new tools and improvements to its design, processing and control offerings with the addition of new features for Soundvision and LA Network Manager, and the launch of the P1 AVB processor.

Soundvision will add new Autosplay and Autofilter features, with the former allowing sound designers to define a target SPL along the audience and then calculating speaker angles, while Autofilter applies DSP settings aiming to optimize coverage throughout the venue.

Meanwhile, L-Acoustics’ real time systems control and monitoring software, LA Network Manager will add Autoalign to automatically calculate proposed relative delay and polarity for complementary systems like subwoofers and fills. Once in live mode, the new Autoclimate tool integrates temperature and humidity information from sensors on the P1 AVB processor and allows the user to adapt the system response to changing atmospheric conditions.
