Waterloo, Ontario, Canada (July 8, 2011)--Martin Audio has premiered its DD6, a compact, multi-angled enclosure based on Differential Dispersion horn technology.

It is the first in a new line of products destined to eventually replace the company's Wavefront range.

The DD6 features a 90-120-degree (H) x 60-degree (V) rotatable HF horn and direct-radiating 6.5-inch bass/mid driver with neodymium magnet and high-linearity mechanical and motor system. This is said to improve throw towards the further limits of the coverage pattern, while reducing the output closer to the loudspeaker.

The mounting options allow M8 inserts to be used with eyebolts, and there are three dedicated brackets available--a multipurpose vertical tilt bracket, which can be attached to the top, bottom or side of the DD6 and can be used with a top-hat fitting or scaffold clamp; a yoke for fitting to walls or ceilings in any orientation; and a wall bracket with invisible fitting to a wall.
