Framingham, MA (February 6, 2020)—Though introduced last summer, the Bose SoundComm B40 headset will make its tradeshow debut later this month at ISE in Amsterdam, giving integrators and live production pros an opportunity to see the new offering.
Attendees can try out the B40 at Bose’s booth (7-C200) as experts will be available to provide personalized B40 demonstrations.
The SoundComm B40 Headset is intended to provide noise cancellation performance, clear communication, comfort and durability, according to Bose, and is aimed at live event professionals like audio engineers and event production crews working in outdoor or indoor environments. The B40 is likewise intended for house of worship use and sports coordination for coaches and the like. Accordingly, it was designed taking some cues from the SoundComm B30 coach’s headset used by the NFL.
The B40 Headset features a weather-resistant dynamic noise cancellation microphone as well as lightweight materials, and is available in 4-pin XLRF and 5-pin XLRM variants, making it compatible with many intercom systems that provide monaural or binaural audio. The SoundComm B40 comes with a one-year warranty in North America and a two-year warranty in Europe and is supported by Bose’s headset service.
The Bose SoundComm B40 Headset is available for $749.95 USD for the single-earcup version and $849.95 USD for the dual-earcup version.
