Røde Microphones Updates Wireless Go Range

Aussie mic manufacturer Røde debuts four additions to its Wireless Go range of wireless mics for entry-level users.

Sydney, Australia (April 8, 2020)—Røde Microphones has launched four new additions to its Go range of wireless mics for entry-level users, with the introduction of the Wireless Go White, Lavalier Go White, Interview Go, and MagClip Go.

Unveiled at last year’s NAB Show, Røde’s Wireless Go is a digital wireless microphone system aimed at vloggers, youtubers, journalists and more. The system’s transmitter pack sports a built-in omnidirectional condenser capsule, a 3.5 mm input for external mics such as the Lavalier Go, and a mount that fits a camera cold shoe and can clip onto clothing. The transmitter/receiver combination uses Røde’s Series III 2.4GHz digital wireless transmission. The transmitter also has a three-stage pad for tailoring the mic output and an LED screen for monitoring levels and battery life.

With that in mind, the new additions to the line include the transmitter and Lavalier Go both in white. Also new to the line are the Interview Go, an adapter that turns the transmitter into a wireless handheld microphone by attaching to the transmitter’s clip, and the MagClip Go, a magnetic clip for use when placing a transmitter on talent.

“This expansion of the range is the product of 12 months of listening to user feedback and seeing what creators need and want,” says Røde CEO Damien Wilson. “We are always in tune with how our products are being used and who is using them, and we constantly push ourselves to create new products that inspire and encourage creativity. Keep an eye on the Wireless GO range in the coming months, there’s more to come…”
