Shure has debuted its model 55SH Series II Unidyne microphone. The company has taken the 55SH body that has been in production since 1951, dropped in a new supercardioid motor, and added some blue color. Aesthetically nostalgic yet a modern performer, it’s sure to get the attentions of audiences and vocalists alike.
Features include neodymium magnet and output transformer for increased sensitivity, internal shock mount that reportedly minimizes handling/stage noise and a die-cast steel casing.
