Leeds, UK (February 10, 2015)—Nugen Audio has announced the release of Loudness Toolkit 2, featuring upgrades to the company's loudness measurement and correction suite, with availability in April 2015.
The Loudness Toolkit 2 will include the VisLM-H meter, LM-Correct quick-fix tool and ISL true peak limiter. Nugen Audio is also making its DynApt dynamic adaptation technology available within the Loudness Toolkit 2 as an extension for LM-Correct. DynApt was previously only available in the company's LMB Processor for server-side batch file processing.
Loudness Toolkit 2 includes various enhancements to the VisLM-H visual loudness meter, including a timecode and loudness profile memory function, an all-new program loudness over-dub mode, new zoomable and scrollable history and log file capabilities, and a fully resizable and configurable interface.
The ISL Inter Sample Limiter now features a new intelligent dynamic release mode, user interface workflow and display enhancements, and advanced variable center channel link settings.
Upgrades to Nugen Audio's LM-Correct loudness measurement and correction tool include single-click analysis and correction, enhanced processing criteria, combined program and short-term or momentary loudness correction, and a new LRA targeting option to automatically adjust audio to meet specific LRA targets.
Supported plug-in formats for VisLM-H and ISL include AAX, RTAS, VST2, VST3, and AU. VisLM-H and LM-Correct are also available as stand-alone products and as Avid Audio suite plug-ins.
