“The DA12 continues to be our best selling microphone since its introduction in 2008,” stated Paul Heaton, Managing Director of Que Audio. “After rebranding our Da-Cappo product line to the Que Audio Performance Series last year, we looked closely at what we could do to improve the DA12. The water resistant condenser capsule remains untouched, providing studio sound quality we’re known for. However, we recognize that new technologies are available in both the material making and manufacturing processes would allow us to make very considerable improvements to the DA12 without affecting the current price structure.”

Enhancements to the DA12 include a slight tapering of the ear cushion for comfort and hold on either the right or left ear; a higher density moveable boom arm; and a heavy-duty stretch cable made from Thermoplastic . High quality connectors (sold separately) are also available for more wireless belt packs, including Shure, Sennheiser, AT, AKG, Lectrosonics, EV and more. An XLR phantom powered connector is also available.

The DA12 is available now, and comes in beige or black, and in standard or child sized models. The product comes with a 1.8-meter cable (1800mm), two windscreens, a tie clip and zip pouch.w
