Lincoln, NE (November 30, 2016)—Radio Active Designs has shipped its TX-8/900M, a wireless antenna combiner for the 900 MHz band.
The TX-8/900M can be used with any UHF in-ear monitoring (IEM) or IFB systems operating in the 900 MHz band, specifically 941-960 MHz, and allows the connection of up to eight UHF transmitters to one antenna.
The unit is designed with the intent to reduce intermodulation products in order to minimize interference while providing compatibility with all forms of modulation, including FM, AM, SSB, ENB, as well as a variety of digital forms, including FSK, and MIMO.
Individual channel indicators on the TX-8/900M front panel show RF activity and amplifier faults. An antenna fault indicator warns of excessive antenna VSWR. Output power is selectable to 50, 100 or 250 mW, independent of input power level.
In addition, the TX-8 incorporates RF power regulation that ensures constant, pre-determined output from IEM and RF PL devices. And, each of the TX-8's inputs are outfitted with individual RF power switches.
