Edison, NJ (October 1, 2015)—RCF has added to its long-running ART 700 Series powered speaker line with the introduction of the ART732-A and ART735-A models.
The 12-inch and 15-inch models each feature a 1.4-inch exit, 3-inch voice coil neodymium high frequency compression driver achieving over 130 dB maximum SPL. The low frequency transducers are intended to provide a linear response and low frequency control. They each sport a crossover point at 900 Hz intended to allow the high frequency transducer to produce a more accurate vocal intelligibility.
All the woofer and subwoofer designs are equipped with large sizes and properly vented inside/outside voice coils. This reportedly allows for 6-7 dB more output, as well as smoothing out the sound characteristics of the cabinet in long-term performance applications. The inside/outside voice coil design is said to provide better heat dissipation and provide good mechanical resistance for accurate sound reproduction.
The Reddot Design Award winning cabinets are designed to dampen down vibrations, and the reflex porting offers frequency and pattern control. The cabinets are equipped with ergonomically designed forged aluminum handles with rubber handgrips for portability, and have pole mount cup for stand mounting, M10 flypoints for rigging and angle cut on cabinet for use as a floor monitor.
