An expansion to RCF’s HDL Series, the HDL50-A is an active three-way line array module, designed specifically for indoor and outdoor large events. It is equipped with two 12-inch woofers, four symmetrical 6.5-inch midrange transducers and two 2-inch high frequency compression drivers plus a built-in 4,400W digital amplifier—800W for HF, 1,400W for mids and 2,200W for low frequencies. New generation RCF DSP handles all processing within the cabinet, allowing adjustment of cluster size and HF projection.
Using neodymium magnets and RCF’s new housing constructed from lightweight plywood and polypropylene, it has a notably low weight of 106 lbs. The HDL50-A’s custom 4PATH designed waveguide allows coverage of 90×10 degrees.
RCF will show the HDL50-A, among other new products, at the upcoming NAMM Show in Anaheim, California at booth 6780.
