New York, NY (September 16, 2016)—A complete remodeling of its HS1, Australia’s RØDE has introduced the HS2 headset microphone.

The changes begin with the company's adding flexible silicone ear strips for long-wear comfort and a new fixed boom arm.

Replacing the articulated arm of the HS1, this allows the boom arm to be simply moved and shaped into position. The new strain relief system also removes the possibility of damage when pulled on or adjusted at the back of the neck.

The HS2 also includes a new 3.5mm TRS connector with removable locking nut, allowing compatibility with RØDELink Filmmaker and Newsshooter kits.

HS2 is available in both black (HS2-B) and pink (HS2-P), and large or small models for child to adult fittings.
