Frankfurt, Germany (April 6, 2016)—At prolight+sound in Frankfurt, Sennheiser debuted the digital version of its MK 4 large diaphragm condenser microphone featuring Apogee A/D conversion and mic preamp technology. Built for use with iOS devices as well as Mac and PC CPUs, the MK 4 Digital ships with a USB cable and a Lightning iOS cable for connecting to iPad, iPhone or iPod touch as well as a microphone clamp and a pouch.

Like its earlier all-analog version, the MK 4 Digital is designed and built in Germany. Along with use with virtually any commercially available DAW, the MK 4 is optimized for use with iOS recording apps such as GarageBand and Apogee's own MetaRecorder.

The MK 4 digital will be available this summer.
