Sennheiser Debuts ClipMic Digital, MKE 2 Digital

New York, NY (May 7, 2015)—Featuring Apogee preamplification and A/D converters, Sennheiser’s new ClipMic digital (pictured) and MKE 2 digital offerings connect directly to iOS devices via each’s Lightning connector for field recording.

Each allows for field-applicable metadata tags—like Keywords, Favorites and Markers—on audio files to be imported via XML files into Apple’s Final Cut Pro, too.

ClipMic digital is the “pro-sumer” product, while MKE 2 features Sennheiser’s namesake subminiature omnidirectional lavalier capsule is already proven in the professional field recording marketplace.

ClipMic digital is priced at $199 street; MKE 2 digital will be available at $499 street.
