Nashville, TN (July 11, 2016)—At the Wave Distro booth at the recent Summer NAMM show in Nashville, Serpent Audio presented its Splice MKII, an 1176-style FET compressor, with Mike Pildis of Serpent Audio showing it to producers, engineers and musicians alike.

The Splice MKII offers the choice between "Blue Stripe" or "Blackface" 1176 circuitry on the input and output stages separately—in effect, splicing the two together. The Splice MkII also introduces other features, including an "All Buttons In" SLAM mode, Integrated Side Chain Filter and a 'blend' control for parallel compression techniques.

Serpent Audio also demonstrated the SB4001 Stereo Buss Compressor, the Chimera Opto Compressor and its new Send N' Blend mix module.
