New York (October 11, 2011)—Sound Devices will showcase its Mix Assist, a new feature for its 788T Multi-Track Digital Audio Recorders, at the upcoming AES Convention.
Mix Assist turns down unused microphones, while activating only microphones that are in use, thus aiding the effort to get clean dialogue recordings.
Sound Devices will also be showcasing its newest compact, portable audio mixer, the MixPre-D, aimed for professionals who are looking for a portable production mixer solution. At the heart of the new MixPre-D are two studio-grade mic/line-switchable inputs with limiters, high-pass filters and selectable phantom power.
Sound Devices will exhibit at AES Booth #139.
