The new Si Compact Series is an affordable range of mixers featuring Soundcraft’s digital mixing platforms, geared toward touring, theater/clubs, houses-of-worship and corporate audio applications. The Compact features full Si DSP power in a very small package, in 16, 24 or 32 mono input frames; the Compact can provide up to 40 inputs to mix.

Motorized faders with Soundcraft’s patented FaderGlow are two layers deep, and compared with most other mixers at its price point, the Si Compact is allowed a full encoder set per channel. This includes all channel functions: input gain, EQ, dynamics and bus controls.

Familial relationships benefit the Si, as it borrows some great features from its Harman Pro Group brethren: four built-in Lexicon effects processors with dedicated FX busses to main mixes and BSS Graphic EQ per bus, for example.

The Compact uses EMMA Lite, the same DSP platform as the large Si Series mixers.

Other features include 14 mono aux busses, four matrix busses, LRC mix busses, four mute groups, four assignable insert send/returns (24- and 32-frame models), and Harman HiQ integration.
