Switchcraft Bows Three Patch Panels

Chicago, IL (October 24, 2016)—Audio manufacturer Switchcraft is launching three new products intended to aid speedy XLR signal routing. The new products include a pair of 16-channel XLR PT-series patchbays and a new DTRS-wired, 24-channel XLR patchbay less than 2 inches deep.

The AP24MX3DB25F pass-through patch panel is a space-saving 2RU rackmount panel intended for live room and broadcast studio installations. At just under two inches deep, the AP24MX3DB25F allows for connections of 24 XLR connections to be routed to three groups of eight DB25 connections, wired in the Tascam DTRS pin configuration all on the front panel.

Meanwhile, new PT16FX16M and PT16MX16F PT Series audio pass-through I/O panels provide front-of-rack access to one’s I/Os. Switchcraft offers two solutions in either Male or Female XLR connections on the front and their pass-through counterpart on the rear.

The units are hard-wired using 110 Ohm AES/EBU digital audio cable...ideal for analog or AES/EBU digital audio.
