New cans aim to duplicate audio quality of nearfield monitors.

Montebello, CA (December 4, 2018)—TASCAM has unveiled its new TH-07 High Definition Headphones, intended for mixing and monitoring.

Aiming to duplicate the audio quality of nearfield monitors, the TH-07s employ custom-made 50 mm drivers and reportedly offer a 10 Hz to 30 kHz frequency response and sensitivity of 100 dB ±3 dB.

The closed-back headphones sport a circumaural design and leather earcups that fit snugly the ear. The earcups can be rotated and angled for maximum flexibility and one-ear monitoring.

The TASCAM TH-07 comes with two detachable cables—one coiled and shorter for short-distance work, with a 1/8-inch connector, and the other straight and longer (approximately 8½ feet) with a multi-connector that accommodates both 1/8-inch and ¼-inch jacks.
