An all-discrete transistor design with no ICs used except for the power supply, the unit uses Sowter transformers for the mic, line and output stages, claimed to match the exact specification as the originals. Housed in a 2U rackmount package, the Audio "A" Range comprises two separate channels that are laid out in a very similar manner to the original specifications, complete with faders for EQ level control.
