Knoxville, TN (November 9, 2018)—V10 of Waves Audio’s eMotion LV1 Live Mixer V10 has been released, bringing with it a number of new features for front-of-house, monitor and broadcast pros, including I/O sharing with separate gain control for each engineer and shared pre-amp control with automatic individual gain compensation.
The V10 edition’s I/O sharing allows users to share stageboxes between two eMotion LV1 mixers, and hand in hand with that, shared and separate gain control modes are also now available, enabling engineers to set their nominal input levels without affecting each other or having to split the signal with dedicated gear.
The mixer’s channel strip – its standard EQ, filters and dynamics processing – is provided by Waves eMo plug-ins: eMo D5 Dynamics, eMo F2 Filter and eMo Q4 Equalizer. The LV1 also integrates with Dugan Speech and Dugan Automixer plug-ins (purchased separately), accessible from each LV1 channel.
eMotion LV1 can be controlled from a variety of devices and hardware controllers, varying as broadly as four touchscreens or a single laptop or tablet. eMotion LV1 uses the Waves SoundGrid infrastructure for audio networking. It can be configured as a portable or stationary setup and can connect to any SoundGrid-compatible I/O or server, allowing users to access it anywhere as needed to work on sessions, whether offline or with full-on audio.
Windows/Mac 64 bit-compatible, Waves LV1 V10 handles up to 64 stereo/mono input channels, 36 buss/return channels, and can run eight SoundGrid-compatible plugins directly on each channel. It provides 16 auxes (stereo/mono), eight audio groups, L/R/C/Mono and eight matrixes (stereo/mono), as well as 16 DCA faders, eight mute groups and eight user-assignable shortcut keys.
