The two-way, ultra compact loudspeaker system caters to a variety of sound reinforcement applications for venues, including small- to medium-sized performance halls, clubs, houses of worship, theaters, cabarets and meeting and presentation facilities.

The updated system includes a PXD8080 power amplifier with a new 2-channel design at 800 x 800 watts, and employs a third generation digital Class D amplifier, reportedly with 88 percent ‘Green’ efficiency. The PXD8080 also employs a 64-bit processor, which is said to offer a 121 dB dynamic range with a 96 kHz sampling rate. It can store up to 99 factory presets and includes a regulated power supply with a universal voltage range of 88V-170V.

The WorxAudio Technologies X2-P Line array incorporates two modules, each with a medium format, 1-inch exit compression driver coupled to stabilize propriety FlatWave Former. Paired with dual 8-inch cone transducers and an A.I.M. (Acoustic Intergrading Module), the system provides a rich, fully-balanced sound with a frequency range that spans from 45 Hz to 20 kHz.

The X2-P contains an upper module with a 10-degree vertical dispersion and lower module with a 25-degree vertical pattern, and combined, the modules create a 30-degree vertical system with an unusually broad horizontal dispersion of 150 degrees.

The loudspeaker is protected by a multi-ply Baltic Birch cabinet and is available in black or white. A 14-gague, perforated, cloth-backed, powder coated steel grill protects the transducer compliment.
