Las Vegas, NV (June 6, 2016)—At InfoComm later this week, WorxAudio will unveil the TrueLine XL1, an ultra-compact line array system, available in both touring and install versions.

The new WorxAudio XL1 is a two-way line array loudspeaker that incorporates a large format 1.4-inch exit compression driver coupled to a stabilized proprietary FlatWave Former with the intention of providing high frequencies over a predictable and controlled coverage area. Dual 8-inch cone transducers coupled to the Acoustic Integrating Module are said to minimize cone filtering throughout the entire operating range.

Powered versions of the WorxAudio XL1 incorporate WorxAudio’s new PDA-1000 power amplifier with integrated DSP, Dante audio networking capability and WorxControl, a loudspeaker management system. The PDA-1000 is a 2-channel, Class D power amp with 500W per channel and includes XLR Input, XLR Pass thru and integrated Dante audio networking capability.

Key features of WorxControl include an 800 ms alignment delay adjustable in 0.1 ms increments so operators can align delay systems, center fills and more. There’s also a Limiter with fully variable threshold that enables one to control dynamics without a mixer or an output processor as well as a Compressor with fully variable attack, release, threshold, ratio, and make-up gain. The amplifier can be protected from outdoor elements with the optionally available rain shield.

The XL1 reportedly features a 160-degree horizontal dispersion pattern to provide unusually broad horizontal dispersion. The XL1 features a multi-ply plywood enclosure, with a multi-layered catalyzed polyurethane finish and a perforated, powder coated steel grill.

The WorxAudio XL1 Line Array is available now.
