The Academy of Contemporary Music, which counts famous alumni from Ed Sheeran and Newton Faulkner to Amelle Berrabah and Zomboy, has announced it is opening a campus in Clapham, London in September.
Facilities from brands such as SSL, Tama and Avid will be used by the teaching faculty.
Kainne Clements, executive chairman at ACM said: “Refurbishment is currently taking place and ACM are investigating opportunities to work with and link up with industry partners for endorsements.”
Some of ACM London’s appointments for 2016 include Kris Coombs-Roberts and Richard Boucher (Funeral For A Friend), Cherisse Osei (Paloma Faith), Arya Goggin (Skindred), Mark Richardson (Feeder, Skunk Anansie) and Sandy Beales (One Direction).
ACM will be offering degree programmes in Professional Music Performance, Creative Music Technology, Music Business and Innovation and Commercial Songwriting. It is also partnering with Falmouth University.
