Altec Lansing announces new distribution deal

Altec Lansing regional sales director Paul Hartridge said that the company is excited about its new alliance with Micro-Peripherals, which has the required “presence, expertise and strong market knowledge.”

Micro-Peripherals will distribute Altec Lansing’s audio products within the UK, including the inMotion speaker systems for portable digital players. As a result of the new deal, Micro-Peripherals will stock Altec Lansing’s entire product suite consisting of their audio systems for the office and home, headphones, and the popular line of inMotion speaker systems for portable digital players.

“We are excited about our new alliance with Micro-P,” said Paul Hartridge, Altec Lansing’s regional sales director. “Micro-P has the presence, expertise and strong market knowledge necessary to position our products successfully within this marketplace. It is a very exciting time for us at the moment, with an award-winning range of products and several new products to be announced later on in the year. We are confident that Micro-P will be a driving force in the continued growth and promotion of Altec Lansing brand in the UK.”

Established in 1980, Micro-Peripherals’distribution portfolio also includes Acer, Samsung, Sony, Toshiba, Western Digital and Netgear, among others. The company has two facilities in the UK, located in Altham (Lancashire) and Basingstoke (Hampshire).
