Andy Tapley, BBC S&PP sound supervisor, added to PSNPresents… line-up

Tapley joins craft manager Scott Talbott, who was announced as a speaker last week

BBC Studios and Post Production (S&PP) sound supervisor Andy Tapley is the second confirmed speaker for March’s inaugural PSNPresents…, the first in a series of networking events hosted by PSNEurope. He joins Scott Talbott, craft manager at BBC S&PP, who was announced as a speaker last week (see BBC S&PP’s Scott Talbott to speak at PSNPresents…).

Tapley (pictured) has extensive experience in all genres of audio for television production, including music programmes, Saturday night entertainment, sitcoms, chat shows, game shows and sporting events. Recent credits include Strictly Come Dancing (see TEN! Strictly marks a decade of dancing with BBC S&PP at Elstree), Room 101, Watchdog and the BBC’s 2014 FIFA World Cup coverage from Brazil.

He was also recently responsible the design and installation of S&PP’s new sound control rooms at Elstree Studios.

PSNPresents…, which takes place on 12 March at the Ham Yard Hotel, is inspired by The Pre-Roll section of last year’s Pro Sound Awards, centred around a sequence of on-stage interviews and panels with leading lights from the pro-audio spectrum. Focusrite was recently announced as the first event sponsor (see Focusrite confirmed as PSNPresents… sponsor), with more to be confirmed soon.

PSNPresents… will take place at the Ham Yard Hotel, London, on Thursday 12 March from 6.45pm with a 7.30pm start. Tickets are £35.

A variety of sponsorship packages are available for the event. Contact Ryan O’Donnell ([email protected]), Darrell Carter ([email protected]) or Rian Zoll-Khan ([email protected]) for more information.
