AuviTran, TEQSAS showing new Dante products at PL+S

Audinate’s Dante networking technology is being featured in new products from both TEQSAS and AuviTran at this year’s Prolight + Sound.

At Prolight + Sound, Audinate’s Dante networking technology is being featured in new products from both TEQSAS and AuviTran. TEQSAS , a German pro-audio solutions have announced a new Dante AES breakout module for their cyberTEQ – m-family of digital audio interconnect solutions. cyberTEQ – m is a distribution system that uses IEEE 802.3 Gigabit-Ethernet as backbone. By using only one connection between two cyberTEQ – m-mainframes nearly all signals used in the event technique can be transmitted simultaneously. Due to the dedication of converter modules, the link between the Ethernet and these signals are realized. “The partnership with Audinate now gives us the ability to implement Dante in our product offerings,” said Rainer Laschet, Technical Director of TEQSAS. “Integrating high quality audio over IP networking fits well with the many other IP standards-based communication modules we offer. Our Dante enabled module for the cyberTEQ – m allows for a completely unified signal distribution system.” Another audio networking specialist, AuviTran have announced it is adding Dante technology to its Audio Toolbox product range. “The integration of Dante technology into our product portfolio will allow AuviTran to address market’s demands for new network interoperability. Dante offers our customers a smart path to AVB. AuviTran is continuously and consistently expanding its product offer in terms of powerful and versatile networking solutions,” said Yves Ansade, AuviTran’ s managing director. AuviTran’s Audio ToolBox allows users to connect various types of interfaces (analog line, microphone, AES-EBU, MADI, ADAT, etc) or bridge different audio network technologies. “This is an exciting opportunity for our customers to build their own tailor made products, regardless of the technologies they want to use or the product they want to plug in. We will supply the tools and they will use their talents,” added product development manager Jeremie Weber.
