Broadwick Venues appoints Venue Lab to manage hire of new London venues

The new London event sites are the Drumsheds and Exhibition London

According to IQ, Broadwick Venues of festival promoter Broadwick Live, has selected Venue Lab to manage all venue hire for its new London event sites, the Drumsheds and Exhibition London.

This collaboration comes after a successful partnership with Venue Lab and Broadwick Venues’ London venue Printworks.

The Drumsheds’ opening was announced earlier this month, the venue hosting its first event on June 7 for Broadwick Live’s Field Day Festival. The Drumsheds a ten-acre outdoor venue with four interlinking warehouses and a total capacity of 10,000.

Exhibition London is scheduled to open at the end of 2019, transforming a Victorian Grade II Dimco East building in Shepherd’s Bush – originally an electricity generating station for London Underground – into a music and events venue with a 1,400 capacity.

Venue Lab’s role will be to manage corporate, brand and filming bookings and all venue hire.

Venue Lab is the creator of event spaces including Printworks London, Landing Forty Two and The Pumping House, Dock X London, Thirty Eight Grosvenor Square and the recently launched Magazine London.

Broadwick Venues managing director Bradley Thompson commented: “Following our very successful partnership at Printworks London, Venue Lab is the natural choice to help us develop the Drumsheds and Exhibition London as new cultural spaces for the city.”

Venue Lab director of venues, Claire Pastore, said: “We are very excited to be partnering with Broadwick Venues and further expanding our portfolio. Venue Lab has a proven track record of finding, activating and delivering thought-provoking spaces both commercially and to create destinations,”
