Coldplay to broadcast live performance of new album Everyday Life from Jordan

The two live broadcasts, enabled by a partnership with Youtube Originals, will take place on the day of the album's release, November 22

Coldplay has partnered with YouTube Originals for the launch of the band’s eighth album, Everyday Life, to produce two live broadcasts from Jordan on November 22, the day of the album’s release.

The live-streamed gigs will take place in Amman, Jordan – marking the first time the band has played in Jordan – with performances of both halves of the 52-minute ‘Everyday Life’ double album: Sunrise and Sunset.

Coldplay commented: “These two broadcasts have been our dream since we first started work on this album. It’s a bit impossible and a bit scary, like all the best dreams. YouTube is the perfect home for it.”

Two songs from the album, ‘Orphans’ and ‘Arabesque’, were released on October 24 and are available to download/stream now.

The band announced the concerts with an unorthodox online press conference, which you can watch below.
