Community appoints Richard Dean Associates for New England and New York territory

Community Professional Loudspeakers has selected rep firm Richard Dean Associates, which supports a portfolio of high-profile brands, including Shure, QSC, Allen & Heath and more

Community Professional Loudspeakers has announced the appointment of rep firm Richard Dean Associates for the New England and Upstate New York territory.

Established in 1975, RDA’s brand portfolio includes Shure, QSC, Allen & Heath, BARCO, Patton Electronics, Denon/Marantz Pro, Rane, IDK Corp. and Listen Technologies.

Dick Bazirgan, principal of RDA and audio industry veteran of 30 years, commented: “We pride ourselves on representing the premiere brands in every category, and Community is certainly in that group. It is a great complement to our other brands, with outdoor and installation products covering voids we couldn’t previously fill. The endorsement of many of our rep colleagues also played a big part in our decision. To a firm, they talked about what a great company Community is to work with.”

Bazirgan added: “We have a large number of outdoor opportunities with all of the colleges and universities here, as well as a big opportunity for the E Series column line source systems in the house of worship and small theatre markets. We spend a lot of time with end users and consultants, giving us an edge when the final decisions are made.”

Mike Marr, Community’s eastern regional manager remarked: “RDA is a mature rep firm with a great team of support staff, and seasoned reps that are respected and well-liked by their rep brethren. They have a deep knowledge of their individual areas and, like myself, they love doing product demos and presentations. The regions of New England and Upstate New York are in good shape and RDA brings opportunities to introduce Community to new dealers as well as to consultants and engineering firms. The area they cover is large with substantial opportunities for Community and I am excited to be able to work in the field with the RDA team.”
