Countdown to PLASA Focus Glasgow

The Warehouse Sound Services confirms it will once again be exhibiting at this year’s PLASA Focus Glasgow on 20 and 21 January, 2016 at the SECC.

The Warehouse Sound Services will once again be exhibiting at this year’s PLASA Focus Glasgow on 20 and 21 January, 2016 at the SECC.

The company will be showcasing a wide variety of products. Among them will be d&b audiotechnik’s new VP loudspeaker range. As Scotland’s only d&b audiotechnik sales partner, PLASA Focus Glasgow provides the company a unique opportunity to demonstrate d&b’s new speakers to delegates.

The Warehouse is also teaming up with Audio-Technica, the UK exclusive distributor Allen & Heath (another company exclusively supplied by The Warehouse in Scotland) to showcase their next generation digital mixing system, dLive.

Additional products from Avid, EM Acoustics, RCF, Shure, Allen & Heath, Yamaha and Sennheiser will also be on display. Representatives from The Warehouse’s sales, hire, service and flight-casing departments will also attend the event.

Other audio exhibitors at this year’s PLASA Focus Glasgow include Adlib who will be showcasing the latest products from Soundcraft and L-Acoustics on 20 January (only), and hosting two seminars in conjunction with both companies.

Further seminars from Nexo’s Stuart Kerrison and Orbital Sound will explore how PA system designs have evolved and how rental companies should choose the right design for them. Another audio session will be presented by Warehouse Sound Services and d&b audiotechnik discussing the pros and cons of using line array directivity technology.

Also representing pro-audio at the trade event will be AES Scotland, Bose (new to the show this year), EM Acoustic, HD Pro Audio, Orbital Sound, SSE Audio and Stage Electrics.

As we’ve previously reported, PLASA has confirmed that the Glasgow event will feature 50 per cent more exhibitors than the inaugural show last December, and an increase of 38 per cent more visitors.
