What is it?A range of control units for the Oratis intercom system available in both 19” rack and desktop versions. DetailsStandard Subscriber panels feature configurable key layers, eight function keys, an auto-reply function and individual display and volume adjustment for each crosspoint. An integrated dynamics processor offers compression, limiting and noise gating within the microphone channel. The 19” Subscriber panel is a 1U multi-functional unit with programmable buttons and a clear, bright display. Direct connection to the Oratis matrix is via 2-channel AES3 (COAX or CAT5), IP (1-channel) or analogue audio / RS232. The panel carries 16 programmable buttons, two large LCD displays and offers up to 18 characters per key. The 4-layer design incorporates a virtual, internal audio matrix for mixing all inputs and outputs which include dual microphone inputs with phantom power, three GPI inputs, four GPI outputs and both stereo and AES3 auxiliary I/O. Two stereo headphone sockets are also included together with a built-in gooseneck microphone and integrated speaker. The second Delec Subscriber unit is the Desk 16 model offering similar spec to the rackmount panel but in a desktop version with a raked top panel carrying all the controls and programmable buttons plus a gooseneck-mounted microphone and built-in speaker. Delec also produce ‘L’ versions of both models for applications where only one microphone input is required and only a single pair of headphone needs to be connected. In addition, there’s a range of modular Subscriber panels – referred to by Delec as Danner-Modules – including an audio module and 4, 6, 12 and 18-button intercom and control keypads.
