PL+S 2016: Eighteen Sound completes Ciare rebranding

The brand was recently relaunched at Prolight + Sound in Frankfurt, with additions to the product portfolio to boot

Eighteen Sound, based in Reggio Emilia, Italy, has announced the rebranding of Ciare, the brand which it acquired late last year and recently relaunched at Prolight + Sound in Frankfurt with a new logo and brand slogan.

The Ciare brand represents 75 years of experience in the design and production of loudspeaker and amplifier components for the professional, home and car audio markets. The company says the new logo and slogan “To each their own sound” represents a commitment to continue to take note of customer and market requirements when designing ‘new and innovative products’ for the three market segments the brand serves.

Ciare also debuted some of its new products in Frankfurt, including the NDA1, a new 1-inch neodymium HF compression driver; the 6M38, a 6.5-inch ceramic midrange with a flat suspension design; and lastly the 6NCX50 6.5-inch coaxial.

“The relaunch of Ciare is a major step towards revitalising and strengthening the Ciare brand,” stated Giacomo Previ, Eighteen Sound’s sales and marketing director. “I am looking forward to continuing to cater to our loyal clients while watching the brand flourish with new followers.”
