What is it?An active, electronically steerable line array speaker, suitable for fixed installations.DetailsThe LFI-220 column enclosure houses 16 x 4” neodymium drivers and a digital 16-channel amplifier offering independent DSP channels. The column features digitally-controlled vertical sound dispersion (0° – 90° beam angle), vertical sound inclination angle (-40° – +40°) and 110° horizontal sound dispersion. The aluminium housing is 225cm in length and weighs 15kg. The design offers control over the column’s acoustic focus and incorporates sidelobe-free technology plus integrated protection circuitry.According to Fohhn, the LFI-220 provides a high degree of speech intelligibility in rooms with difficult acoustics and is also suitable for reproduction of music using Fohhn subwoofers in a system. The onboard DSP provides fully-parametric 10-band EQ, level control, internal delay up to 350ms/120m, customised preset selection, compression/limiting plus extensive group functions. Control over all parameters and focus simulation is provided through Fohhn Audio Soft (version 3.0 or later) and there’s the option of integration with media controls, complex remote control and monitoring via Fohhn Net – plus a comprehensive range of mounting accessories. And another thing… A eight-driver version – the LFI-120 – is also available and joins the LFI-220 alongside the existing LFI-350 and LFI-450 models in the Linea Focus range.
