HARMAN Professional Solutions has appointed Hamid Soufian as vice president and general manager of EMEA.
Soufian brings more than 18 years of experience in the HARMAN organisation to his new role. As Vice President and General Manager of EMEA for the HARMAN Professional Solutions division, Soufian will draw on his expertise to form critical new partnerships, strengthen long-term relationships with distributors, customers, and employees; and drive growth in the region.
“We are pleased to welcome Hamid Soufian to this key leadership role as we continue to improve and strengthen the HARMAN Professional brand worldwide,” said Mohit Parasher, president and EVP, HARMAN. “We are excited to have someone with Hamid’s expertise to help us grow and bolster our relationships with our valued partners in the EMEA region.”
Prior to his new appointment, Soufian was the VP and general manager responsible for multiple European automotive customer accounts, forging new relationships and enhancing existing partnerships with the OEMs, considerably growing the sales revenues and pipeline across HARMAN’s products in Connected Car, Car Audio and Connected Services. In 2014, Soufian was the senior director and general manager of HARMAN International, where he set up and oversaw the Volvo Consumer Business Unit.
“I’m extremely honoured by this appointment and will be working diligently to establish and strengthen long-term partnerships with our distributors and customers across the EMEA region,” said Soufian. “I view the HARMAN Professional division with its iconic brands as the heart and soul of the company and am excited to work with so many talented and passionate individuals across the organisation. I will ensure that that our customers and employees are met with a true partnership approach and complete transparency, and am extremely grateful for the opportunity.”
