What is it?A two-way passive loudspeaker suitable for use in primary sound reinforcement applications in smaller venues such as houses of worship, theatres and auditoriums – or in restaurants, lounges and bars where high-quality music is required. DetailsThe CT30 MkII houses a 6.5” driver and a neodymium tweeter and can handle up to 150W RMS to produce a maximum SPL of 111dB. Offering a nominal coverage of 80° (H) x 80° (V) across a frequency range of 65Hz – 21kHz (-6dB), it can be used with Hortus Audio’s CT50S and CT2.1 and DMS4.8 processors. The speaker comes in two versions: Phoenix – with a 4-pole Phoenix plug plus three M10 internal fixings for wall mounting – and Speakon which includes two Neutrik Speakon NL4 connectors, a 35mm K&M flange and two M10 internal fixings. The 8 ohm CT30 MkII is also available as a 16 ohm version – the CT30 MkII/Hi. Both enclosures are manufactured from 12mm MDF and finished with two layers of high-resistance polyurethane paint in both black and white. Dimensions are 297 (H) x 203 (W) x 235 (D) mm.
