ISE opens registration for its biggest show yet

The AV and systems integration show announces registration opening to visitors for its 2019 exhibition, with increased floorspace and additional venue.

Integrated Systems Europe has announced that registration is now open to visitors for ISE 2019, which will take place at RAI Amsterdam from February 5-8.

In what promises to be the biggest ISE show to date, the 2019 event introduces an extended exhibition space at Hall 5, as well as a larger conference programme due to growing demand. ISE 2018 welcomed 80,923 registered attendees and 1,296 exhibitors, and the 2019 show is expected to surpass these numbers.

ISE events MD, Mike Blackman, said: “The extension of Hall 5 and the opening of the new Metro station adjacent to the RAI Amsterdam will all contribute to the delivery of a great ISE experience to increased numbers of attendees and exhibitors.”

ISE co-owners AVIXA and CEDIA are building on the show’s success by introducing informative content aimed at members and non-members. AVIXA will host half-day ‘What’s Next’ conferences on February 5-6, where AV integrated experiences in higher education and enterprise environments will be discussed.

AVIXA CEO, David Labuskes, said: “AVIXA’s education programme for ISE will explore the trends at the forefront of contemporary AV design. We’ve partnered with esteemed organisations SCHOMS, EUNIS and the AV User Group to arm AV professionals with the insight needed to elevate their performance in the marketplace.”

CEDIA will host a full programme of professional development sessions. Key issues such as discussions within the residential installation market will also be covered during CEDIA talks from February 7-8.

CEDIA global president and CEO, Tabatha O’Connor, said: “With a substantial education programme from CEDIA, complete with a brand-new home cinema design workshop, core training sessions and our popular CEDIA talks, there will be something for everyone at the show. We’re so proud to be co-owners and look forward to returning to Amsterdam for ISE 2019.”

ISE’s conference programme will reflect the show’s increasing segmentation into vertical markets. Five of these conferences will be held at the Hotel Okura, Amsterdam.

XR Summit ISE and Digital Signage Summit ISE will be returning for the 2019 ISE. Debuts at the 2019 show will include, Digital Cinema Summit ISE and Attractions TECH by blooloop, and HTNG Insight Summit ISE which will focus on hotel and hospitality technology.

Conferences will also take place at RAI. The Smart Building Conference will take place Feburary 4, which will have the theme ‘Making Smart Buildings, Making Buildings Smart’.

On the same day, the Audio Forum conference will take place, which is organised by Italian brand Connessioni. AGORA, presented by MONDO STADIA, will make its debut, and will focus on stadium and sporting venue technology, with expert panels, case studies and keynote speakers from the industry.

The main stage is located in Hall 8 and is designed by ISE partner – Improve, which will feature thought-leadership content presented by ISE, AVIXA, CEDIA and AV Magazine, as well as hosting networking events.

ISE recently announced it will be relocating from its current home Amsterdam, to Barcelona in 2021. PSNEurope caught up with some pro audio leaders about their thoughts on ISE’s relocation. Click here to read it.
